One hundred ninety-three student-athletes from the eight New England Football Conference member institutions have qualified for the 2016 NEFC Academic All-Conference team. The 193 honorees equal that of the 2015 team.
To qualify for the team a student-athlete must have completed three semesters at a conference member institution and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale.
MIT led the list with 40 honorees. Conference champion Western New England University and runner-up Salve Regina University each had 32 qualifiers while Endicott College had 27 student-athletes named.
